Granny Feelgood’s opened its doors in Downtown Miami in 1971. Irving Fields was the first owner and the one who developed the first menu for this fresh natural food restaurant. He wanted to emphasize the use of fresh vegetables that he bought daily from local farms and well known distributors.
In the original menu he also featured grilled tofu, white meats, fresh vegetable and fruit juices, and smoothies with the addition of healthy supplements. The cooking process for every dish was always supervised by him in order to provide consistency with both quality and nutrition.
Nowadays, Granny Feelgood’s is 150 guest capacity, indoor and outdoor terrace sitting, with a chef trained in San Pablo, Brazil and Los Angeles, California, who works and supervise other 3 line cooks preserving the old cooking concepts in combination with the most modern techniques.
The actual menu shows a long list of new dishes creating a fusion between the American and the Asian and Mediterranean cuisine.
Our dining facilities are adequate for your office luncheon meetings or social occasions. We also welcome take-out orders.
Granny Feelgood’s is intended to impart a feeling of comfort being like the intermediate place between work and home. It is actually a place to escape from the pressures of the job or the routine of the apartment. Everyone you meet at Granny Feegood’s is trained to enhance that experience and inspiring attitude.
